Japanese Scallops & Seafood Tasting Reception

On Monday, March 25th, Consul General Shindo, along with the Japan American Society of Central Ohio, co-hosted a Japanese Scallops and Seafood Tasting Reception in Columbus, Ohio.
Guests had the opportunity to enjoy Japanese scallops prepared in a variety of different methods as well as sushi and other fine Japanese cuisine. Attendees included local restauranteurs, chefs, company executives, government officials, hospitality industry representatives, members of the Japan America Society of Central Ohio, and more.
Attendees also had the opportunity to taste three sake varieties served at the Consulate sake booth. If you have not yet tried Japanese scallops, we hope you will have the opportunity to enjoy them along with delicious Japanese sake and other seafood dishes.
