Japanese Scallops and Seafood Reception

On Monday, February 5th, Consul General Shindo hosted a reception introducing a variety of delicious dishes boasting Japanese scallops and seafood to local people. Guests enjoyed the Japanese scallops and seafood prepared in various cuisine styles including Japanese, Italian and Chinese. Attendees included local restauranteurs, chefs, company executives, government officials, consuls and honorary consuls, and more. Guests experienced a presentation about Japanese sake and were also given the opportunity to taste a variety of high quality sake hailing from Japan. Participants also enjoyed whiskey from Japan, one of the world's top five whiskey producing countries.
