VISA FEES （Effective July 1, 2026）

No visa fee is required for applicants who are citizens from the following countries:





* only for TEMPORARY VISITORS staying in Japan within 90 days
** only for TEMPORARY VISITORS staying Japan within 60 days
 

• Citizens from countries not listed above need to pay a visa fee in cash, by money order, cashier’s check or company check.  Personal checks and credit cards are not accepted. However, applicants who have applied for an eVisa (online visa application) may pay the visa fee by credit card.
• Please make money order payable to Consulate General of Japan.
