2019 Japanese American Leadership Delegation

We are now accepting applications for the 2019 Japanese American Leadership Delegation (JALD) invitation program to Japan. JALD program provides the opportunity for a selected group of Japanese American leaders from across the U.S. to travel to Japan to engage with Japanese leaders.

Applications must be submitted by email, fax, or mail to your local consular office by Friday, September 14, 2018. Please see the links below for a list of consular offices in the United States. Applicants residing in Michigan or Ohio should submit applications to the Consulate General of Japan in Detroit.

The itinerary will include travel to Tokyo and Kumamoto. Transportation, hotel and meals will be provided. Individuals selected must be able to travel to Japan from March 1 – 9, 2019, and attend a mandatory orientation in Los Angeles on February 1 – 2, 2019.
