MEXT Scholarships
Applications for the 2015 Research Studies Monbukagakusho Scholarships are now available!!

The MEXT Research Studies Scholarship offers university university graduates the opportunity to conduct research in Japan. Studies for this scholarship are conducted at the graduate level and can be used to attain your Master's degree, a PhD or to conduct research work. The scholarship reward includes round-trip airfare, university tuition and fees, and a stipend for monthly living expenses and is usually for a period of1.5 to 2 years.
Completed applications must be received at the Consulate General of Japan in Detroit by Wednesday, June 4, 2014, Applicants must be available for interview and testing on
Friday, June 20, 2014.

All application procedures for the MEXT Scholarships are conducted through Japanese Embassies, Consulates in your countries, or institution of higher education in Japan.
